Come Celebrate National Trails Day, and help us maintain Providence Canyon's Singletrack!
When: Saturday, June 4, 9:00am – 1:00pm
Where: Providence Canyon parking lot
The Trails Cache and The Logan Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest invites the public to join us forNational Trails Day. The public is invited to participate in the community wide event in celebration of National Trails Day. The ongoing efforts offer fun, exercise, a chance to meet new people as well as give back to the local community!
The goal of this project is trail repair and enhancement. We will be doing some tread work, removing deadfall, low hanging trees, and cutting back overgrown trails. Trail crew leads will also be identifying invasive weeds and the process of eradication.
Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own loppers and pruners. Volunteers are required to wear long sleeves, long pants, boots, and eye protection and bring lots of water.
