Make a Difference in the Lives of Older Adults

The Cache County Senior Center welcomes volunteers!

Volunteer positions require the applicant to be at least 18 years of age.

Current volunteers needed for:

  • Meals on Wheels Program - Volunteer Driver
  • Health Promotion Classes
    • Living Well with Chronic Illness
    • Living Well with Diabetes 
    • Stepping On 
  • Hobby Classes such as:
    • Art Classes - Acrylic, watercolor instructor 
    • Dance Classes 
    • Zumba 
    • Light Weight Lifting 
    • Crafting
    • Beginner Spanish 
    • Stained Glass 
    • Wood Working 

Meals on Wheels Program Volunteer Driver: Volunteers are needed to deliver meals to homebound seniors. Donate on your lunch break today and drop off a meal and a smile to a senior in your neighborhood. Make a difference with just an hour to an hour and a half a week.  Must have own transportation and be willing to volunteer 1 day a week for 1 1/2 hours. All volunteers must have a background check, a good driving record and proof of insurance. If interested in volunteering please fill out the volunteer application Click Here. Next, contact the Meals on Wheels Coordinator, Sarah Valent, at 435-755-1722 to schedule a time to visit the center and sign the remaining paperwork. To save time, you are welcome to email your proof of insurance and a copy of your driver's license to sarah.valent@cachecounty.gov. Please specify in your email your name, phone number, and your completion of the online volunteer application. 

Health Promotion; Hobby Classes - We would love to partner with you to bring more joy and fun to our patrons.  If you are interested in volunteering with any of the hobby classes or health promotion classes please call the Program Coordinator, Colby Christensen at 435-755-1726 to schedule a time to discuss volunteer opportunities.
