Cache County Senior Center

The Cache County Senior Center provides programs and activities that will enable older adults of Cache County who are 60 years of age or older to stay healthy and independent.

The philosophy of the Cache County Senior Center is based on these premises: that aging is a normal development process; and that human beings need peers with whom they can interact and who are available as a source of encouragement and support.

As an integral part of the aging network, the Cache County Senior Center serves community needs, assists other agencies in serving older adults, and provides opportunities for older adults to develop their potential as individuals within the context of the entire community.

Following this philosophy, the Cache County Senior Center adheres to the following beliefs:

  • Older adults, like all people, are individuals with ambitions, capabilities and creative capacities.
  • They are capable of continued growth and development.
  • They have certain basic needs, including the need for opportunities for relationships and for experiencing a sense of achievement.
  • They need access to sources of information and help for personal and family problems, and the opportunities to learn from individuals coping with similar experiences.

The Cache County Senior Center offers a wide variety of programs and services, including:

  • Meal and nutrition programs
  • Information and assistance
  • Health, fitness and wellness programs
  • Transportation services
  • Public benefits counseling
  • Volunteer and civic engagement opportunities
  • Social and recreational activities
  • Educational and arts programs

We welcome older adults, their loved ones, and caregivers to reach out to us for assistance. Please note that our team will need to check if you qualify before we can start services. For additional information please call 435-755-1720.
