County Budgets

Cache County is required by the state of Utah to, "review, consider, and adopt a tentative budget" each year prior to finalizing a budget for the following year. Before its regular Council meeting held on October 25, 2022, the County Council was provided the 2023 Tentative Budget, submitted by the County Executive. This budget states the current intent of the County. It can change prior to public hearings, due to updated cost estimates or revenue projections, but the final budget for 2023 will not be adopted until the public has had a chance to ask questions and provide suggestions in a public hearing on the budget. When changes are made to the Tentative Budget, those changes will be reflected in the report. A link to the 2023 Tentative Budget can be found below. Also found below is a link to the 2023 Cache County Budget as adopted by the County Council in a meeting held on December 1, 2022, as well as links to budgets adopted in prior years.
